Every trap, weed patch and hive, on one map.
Bushround is a field app for New Zealand conservation groups and beekeeping clubs. Log your rounds on your phone, even with no reception in the bush.
New here? Your group will send you a link. Sign in with your email, then tap Ask to join.
Who it's for
One app, set up for the way each kind of group works.
Trap lines and weed sites
Traps, bait stations, weed patches, monitoring devices, wasp nests and track hazards. Everyone sees what's due, so nothing gets missed.
Hive records and compliance
A hive diary for every member, with AFB flagged the moment it's suspected, Certificate of Inspection progress, and counts ready for the Annual Disease Return.
Councils and companies
Larger organisations, with single sign-on and reporting. Get in touch if you'd like to be part of shaping it: hello@bushround.nz
What it does
Built by and for volunteers, so it works the way rounds actually happen.
Works with no reception
Checks, new points and photos wait on your phone and send themselves when you're back in range.
Paper when you need it
Printable round sheets and inspection sheets, uploaded later as a spreadsheet.
Safety built in
Anyone can report a wasp nest or hazard straight away, and people heading that way get a warning.
Every change recorded
A full audit log, and anything deleted or changed by mistake can be restored.
Private where it matters
In bee clubs, members see only their own hives. Only the club's coordinators see everyone's.
Works with Trap.NZ
Trap checks export in Trap.NZ's format, so your council and funders still see your numbers.
Getting started
It takes about two minutes.
Open your group's link
Your group or club sends you a link, or scan the QR code on their poster.
Sign in with your email
Type your email address, then the code we send you. There's no password to remember.
Ask to join
A coordinator lets you in. Then add Bushround to your home screen, and you're ready for your first round.
